Connect To Your Forex VPS From a Windows PC

Getting Started

Congrats on ordering a forex VPS from NYCServers! After you have placed your order, you will receive an email containing the remote desktop login credentials for your VPS. This guide will show you how to use these credentials to access your trading VPS from your Windows PC or laptop.

Step 1 – Locate Your Forex VPS Details Email

After your VPS has been setup you will receive an email from us that contains your VPS login credentials.

Step 2 – Open Remote Desktop Connection Program

On your Windows PC, click the Start menu and search for “Remote Desktop Connection” or “mstsc”. Click to open the program.

Step 3 – Enter your VPS IP Address

In the Remote Desktop Connection window, enter your VPS IP address in the “Computer” field. The IP address can be found in your VPS details email or inside of the client area. Then click “Connect”.

Step 4 – Enter User Credentials

When prompted, enter your VPS username and password. These credentials are provided in your VPS details email:

• Username: Administrator
• Password: Your unique VPS password from the email

These credentials must be entered EXACTLY as displayed in the email.

Step 5 – You’re Connected!

You should now be connected to your forex VPS, and ready to trade!

NOTE: You may see a security certificate warning. This is normal. Check the box “Don’t ask me again for connections to this computer” and click “Yes” to continue.
