1. How Auto-Renewal Works
Unless otherwise noted, all NYCServers services are automatically recurring. You agree to be billed automatically for each billing cycle until you submit a cancellation request for your service.
2. Renewal Notices
NYCServers generates an invoice fourteen (14) days before the renewal due date. When the invoice is created, we send an automated renewal-notice email to the email address associated with your account.
The renewal-notice email states the renewal amount, renewal billing date, service or services being renewed, and cancellation procedure. If the invoice remains unpaid, we send a reminder email seven (7) days before the renewal due date.
3. Your Email Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining a current, valid, and actively monitored email address on your NYCServers account. Failing to receive, open, read, or otherwise notice a renewal-notice or reminder email does not invalidate renewal billing, excuse your payment obligation, or provide grounds for a refund or chargeback.
4. How to Cancel
To cancel a service, submit a cancellation request through the NYCServers customer portal at https://newyorkcityservers.com/billing/clientarea.php using the "Request Cancellation" function on the service page. See our service cancellation guide for instructions.
The customer portal cancellation function is the exclusive cancellation channel. Support tickets, email, live chat, social media, and other channels do not by themselves constitute a cancellation request. Your service will continue to be billed unless and until you submit a cancellation request through the portal.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. A cancellation is not effective until it is confirmed in your account portal or by an email titled "Cancellation Confirmation." You are responsible for verifying that the cancellation appears in the portal within twenty-four (24) hours. If it does not appear, re-submit the request and contact support.
5. Renewal Charges & Refunds
The fourteen (14) day refund window begins on the original order date and does not restart, reset, or renew when a service renews. All renewal charges processed more than 14 days after the original order date are non-refundable.
